Glen Forrest Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade is a bush fire emergency service run by volunteers, through The Mundaring Shire and The Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA).

The Brigade operates in Category 3 of the Emergency Services Levy (ESL) boundary. Our bushfire district covers an area stretching east-west from Coolgardie Street to Nelson Road, and north-south from Bushlands Road to Helena River, covering fringes of the John Forrest National Park, the suburb of Glen Forrest and sections of Hovea, Mahogany Creek and Mundaring, Western Australia.

This site has been created by the Glen Forrest Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade (GFVBFB) as an educational tool to provide information that may be sought by the general community, as well as to provide operational matters to Brigade Members.

Please feel free to explore all that this site has to offer, everything from the tips on protecting your property to typing your views in the Guestbook. We value any feedback you may have to offer.
