Glen Forrest Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade is a bush fire emergency service run by volunteers, through The Mundaring Shire and The Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA).

The Brigade currently has 36 active members, and operates in Category 3 of the Emergency Services Levy (ESL) boundary. Our bushfire district covers an area stretching from Brooking Road to Nelson Road, and Helena River to Bushlands Road, covering the suburb of Glen Forrest, fringes of the John Forrest National Park, and sections of the the suburbs of Hovea and Mahogany Creek, in Western Australia.

The Shire of Mundaring is currently under a Prohibited Burning period. No burning is permitted of any size, at any time during the day or night.
